Learn to Play Hockey!

Classes for kids 4-12 years old

Learn to Play is a 7 week class teaching your future player the first steps of hockey. This instructional hockey program focuses on the FUNdamentals of hockey including skating, starts/stops, stick handling, and shooting skills. This class is for 4-12 year old’s that have previous skating experience and is interested in playing hockey. FULL EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED. 

USA Hockey Number will be required during registration.

  • Basic Skating Skills– forward strides & backwards skating

  • Stops, turns & edges

  • Basic stick handling and puck control

  • Pre-requisite for house hockey

  • Ages 4-12

  • Full hockey equipment required

Advanced Hockey Skills Classes

Coached by NHL Stanley Cup Champion Chad LaRose

The Advanced Hockey Skills program is for players ages 8 & up, that have previous hockey experience. Players will be split into small groups by age and skill level. Sessions will focus on puck control, passing, shooting, power skating, edges, etc. 

  • Up to 3 hours of training per week

  • Puck Control & Stick Handling

  • Shooting Skills

  • Power Skating

  • Develop a longer more powerful stride

  • Quick explosive starts– acceleration
